Verification of Award Letter
A Verification of Award letter can be used to confirm that you have been awarded a qualification by the University. The letter details your name, date of birth, student number, program of study, dates of study, and the date you were awarded the qualification.
The letter also confirms that the language of instruction at the University of Newcastle is English.
This letter is commonly used for Visa applications.

ATTENTION: You may be eligible for a fee waiver if you are requesting your Verification of Award letter to be sent to a Government organisation such as Centrelink, or directly to another University. To make this request, please phone University Enquiries on 49215000.
Mail – If you have requested to have your letter mailed to you, please allow up to 2 working days for your request to be processed. Mail times cannot be guaranteed and will be subject to Australia Post delivery schedules. If your request is urgent, please contact the Student Hubs on firstname.lastname@example.org once you have placed your order.
Pick-up – If you have elected to pick up your letter please bring your receipt and identification to any Student Hub to have your letter produced.
